Wendy’s in south Bismarck celebrated a grand reopening Friday.
The restaurant was fitted with new decor, seating and other amenities at 900 E. Bismarck Expressway.
The interior is open and bright, with booths, lounge seating and a Wi-Fi bar.
The renovation is part of the company’s multi-year strategy that began in 2011, “enhancing customer service and evolving their facilities to create a more contemporary and welcoming dining environment.”
North Subway getting a new look
The owners of the north Bismarck Subway restaurant, located on State Street, plan to reopen their remodeled store in mid-May.
Troy Bartsch said the remodel is part of Subway’s new concept, and, to his knowledge, it will be the first Subway in the state to implement the new look.
Bartsch said the store will be more modern, complete with an ordering kiosk where customers can type in their orders and have a seat while it’s prepared rather than waiting in line. The store will continue to offer remote ordering, too, so customers can order on their phone and pick it up.
With the remodel, the store will have more seating, with a 40-person capacity.
In the same building, there is 1,650 feet of retail space for another tenant, according to Bartsch.
Capital RV boasts new facilities
After a fire last summer destroyed the Capital RV shop, the dealership has completed a remodel and rebuild.
The showroom has a new ceiling, flooring and LED lighting. The shop was rebuilt larger to accommodate more and larger RVs compared to what the previous ’70s-era shop could hold. It has 18 bays for repairs and maintenance, sales manager Rob Klinner said.
The dealership also added a 4,000-square-foot delivery center. The facility can hold nine units indoors when buyers attend orientations on how their new campers work before taking it home.
