  1. My 5 year old gives better directions. This unit is highly inaccurate. The first destination I plugged in estimated 43 miles in length using the shortest route as shown on the unit’s screen. I have driven this exact route countless times and it is 72 miles in reality. At one point, the unit kept telling to turn right onto a road to get to the destination; problem was, I had already turned on that road; it kept telling me the road was a mile ahead.   2. The same, but different. This unit replaces a Garmin Nuvi that became erratic in it’s operation. The Drive 50 is very similar, but newer software. I like the road warnings: speed changes, curves, rail crossings, etc. I’m not completely sold on the traffic function yet. On a recent trip on I95 I got a waring of a 151 minute delay ahead and an offer to find an alternate route. Google maps didn’t show any delay and another car traveling with us with a different model Garmin model did not show a delay. We travelled on and…
